The notion of reading any book under the covers with a flashlight will immediately resonate with a certain type of person and this picture is dedicated to them. The same type of people feel compelled to learn other languages or compulsively learn new things because they can't stand to be left out of the loop. They love to hang out in libraries and will claim that information should be available to everyone but there is something compelling about forbidden knowledge even on a conceptual level...
Since forbidden fruit is the most delicious, on some level you want things to be kept from you so as to have the added pleasure of seeking it out and doing something wrong. Just admit it, you know I'm right. Because there is an almost child like sense of wonder to that, I asked a friend's daughter to sit for me and she did an excellent job
Amusingly enough, I had to keep reworking the blankets to get them to look as comfy and soft as I wanted them to be. Also I wanted her to be slightly reminiscent of a tiny monk so there was something of a challenge in finding the right balance. Finally, I was able to indicate depth of field without using a raytracer so that was rewarding
