This work is about those precious things you loved so dearly as a child, then discarded; and what you have allowed them to become... Because somewhere inside you is a child who will never forgive you for letting these things go. I don't mean your old toys, I mean your true laugh: The one you used to have before someone made fun of it. All the parts of you which were unique that you traded in for conformity now slowly festering in the dark corners of your soul
While the theme may be complex, the actual layout and rendering is actually quite simple so I ultimately relied on lighting and texture to tell the tale since fancy technique wasn't required here. Still, it seems this theme could be revisited to enjoy further variations. Please look forward to them!
