I’ve been attracted to manga for as long as I can remember but my favorite styles are all from the 80s. That was the golden age as far as I’m concerned. The color theory they tend to use may seem flat and garish to some, as it was informed by animation but it looks great to me, just sometimes their pallets seem a little bizarre; hot pink with powder blue and black? That sort of scheme really defeats my sensibilities but they made it work
