I painted this golden snub nosed monkey in honor of Chinese New Year. In the zodiac in China, people born in the year of the monkey have attributes of a clever mind, as I think does this monkey. The art has a soft realist impressionist feel.
The original painting is a 5"x7" acrylic painting on panel. It is also available as 5"x7" Open Edition giclee prints and as 2.5"x3.5" Limited Edition ACEO giclee prints. The ACEO edition is limited to 25.
