I painted this pig in honor of Chinese New Year. In the zodiac in China, people born in the year of the boar have attributes of geniality and gentleness. They also have good fortune, as I think does this piglet. The art has a painterly realist impressionist feel.
The original painting is a 7"x5" acrylic painting on canvas panel. It is also available as a 7"x5" Open Edition giclee print and as a 2.5"x3.5" Limited Edition ACEO giclee print. The ACEO edition is limited to 25.
