I painted this big horn mountain ram in honor of Chinese New Year. This year it is year of the sheep. In the zodiac in China, people born in the year of the sheep have attributes of gentle calm, as I think does this ram. The ram has a soft realist impressionist feel.
The original painting is a 5"x7" acrylic painting on panel, there is some light texture in the original.
