These two horses are in sync with each other as they graze. One horse is a dappled grey mare, the younger horse is black with a white streak across his forehead. They are set against a background of light blue and purple trees, with slightly darker blues and purples behind them, and a large section of pastel greens, blues, and whites at the bottom. It has a soft realist impressionist feel.
The original painting is an 10"x8" acrylic painting on canvas panel. In the original painting, the horses are somewhat thickly painted. It is also available as a 10"x8" Open Edition giclee print and as a 3.5"x2.5" Limited Edition ACEO giclee print with some cropping. The ACEO edition is limited to 25.
