The water lilies in this painting are inspired by a photograph I took at Descanso Gardens. Waterlilies are one of my favorite flowers, there is something about the beauty of a waterlily that draws me in. These are white with accents of pink and yellow set against dark green lily pads. This water lily portrait has a romantic realist feel with a touch of impressionism.
